So tonight we went and saw Erin McKeown again, at the Iron Horse. (She lives around here now, which is why she plays here relatively frequently.) Erin McKeown, a mostly-folk musician who I have mentioned here several times before, has a new album out. It is Sing You Sinners, an album of standards that for some bizarre reason is only out in the UK now but will be released in the US in January. Today being Friday, lysimache and I thought it would be a good idea to go out for the evening. We actually had originally intended to see Dar Williams, who was playing downtown tonight, but the cheapest tickets were $30, and that was a little on the expensive side.
